Community Support Events
At Liberty Elks Lodge #1545, we believe in the power of community through volunteerism. Our events are crafted to address the needs of individuals and families in Liberty, New York. These events are an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference.
The first Wednesday of most months is our Family Night Dinner. This dinner is a fundraiser for our Youth program, open to the public from 5-7 (or until we run out) and will feature a different meal each month. Our Calendar has the details. These are complete dinners priced for family affordability at $17!! BUT you must reserve by calling 292-3434. Eat in with us, or take out. Family night dinners are always open to the public and are always held the first Wednesday of the month.
Charitable Events
Our charitable events are the cornerstone of Liberty Elks Lodge #1545. Through fundraising dinners, craft fairs, Bingo and more, we raise essential funds that are reinvested into our building, or back into the community.
Our Annual Veterans Day spaghetti & meatball dinner is always offered free of charge to Veterans with ID, while others pay a nominal charge.
Each year, in December, we donate and deliver Roses to those unfortunate enough to be spending their holidays in Hospitals and Rehab centers in our area. We are able to do this thanks to the hard work of our members and the many generous donations we receive for this purpose.
Our facilities are available to youth, seniors and veterans organizations as well. Please contact us if your charity is in need.
Youth Programs
Investing in our youth is investing in the future. Liberty Elks Lodge #1545 hosts a variety of youth-oriented programs aimed at educational empowerment and personal development. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and recreational activities, we offer young people the tools they need to succeed. Our calendar is filled with engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and leadership. We invite young members of the community to participate and parents to get involved. These programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that all young individuals in the Liberty area have the opportunity to thrive.
We recently held our 2025 Youth Archery Shoot was designed to introduce children up to 15 to a sport requiring focus and accuracy. The program nurtures safety and sportsmanship and is proving especially beneficial for at risk youth. We expect to so the same again in July 2026.
Our 2025 Soccer Shoot is coming August 23, 2025 at Liberty's Walnut Mountain Park Soccer field. Local kids who win in their categories will go on to compete at the District level.
Our 2025 Hoop Shoot will be scheduled soon so stay tuned! Participants will be asked to show verification of birthdate (birth certificate or Baptismal Certificate)
